Enric Romaguera

Enric Romaguera, based in Valencia, holds a PhD in Physical and Sports Activity Sciences and is a multidisciplinary artist whose expertise spans music, acting, circus arts, and education. Since embarking on his career in 2007, Romaguera has honed his craft through training with renowned figures such as Jona Sun in Byron Bay, Australia; Marco Paoletti from Argentina; Jorge Petit from Chile; and Sergio Claramunt in Valencia. His diverse skill set allows him to perform at multiple levels, engaging audiences across a variety of platforms, and contributing significantly to the fields of performing arts and education.

Romaguera’s work has garnered recognition, including a nomination for best circus show at the Performing Arts Awards by the Valencian Institute of Culture. His notable performances include Memphis Rock & Cirk with the company La Finestra Nou Circ in 2019 and The Design of Being Together with the Sargantana Circ Inclusiu in 2020. These nominations speak to his artistic versatility and his ability to merge circus arts with other performance styles.

In addition to his contributions to the performing arts, Romaguera has collaborated with the NGO Payasospital, bringing joy and entertainment to patients in Valencian hospitals. His work in this field was recognized with an Honorary Prize for Performing Arts in 2021 and the Max Honorary Award in 2023.

Romaguera’s stage credits also include roles in productions by Escalante, a public production house in Valencia. He was the lead dancer in Chafar la Gespa and performed as a musician and actor in the Boira show, produced by Escalante-Maquinant Teatre, further demonstrating his broad artistic range and dedication to both artistic and social causes.
