Edoardo Baroni, a native of Brescia, Italy, embarked on his musical journey with a profound dedication to jazz guitar. Under the mentorship of Luciano Poli, he honed his skills, further refining his jazz language with esteemed instructors Sandro Gibellini and Roberto Soggetti. At just 18, Edoardo was one of only nine candidates admitted to the Conservatorio Marenzio of Brescia, where he graduated with a degree in jazz guitar in 2014 and again in 2017. His academic pursuits were guided by Peo Alfonsi, renowned for his collaboration with Al Di Meola, culminating in Edoardo's advanced academic graduate degree in jazz guitar.
In 2018, Edoardo's expertise led to his appointment as a guitar teacher at the Conservatorio Puccini in Gallarate (VA). His passion for music education drove him to further his studies, graduating in Music Education in 2020 and attending the Chick Corea Academy for its entire duration.
April 15, 2022, marked a significant milestone in Edoardo's career with the release of his debut solo album, "Dawn," under the Clockbeats label. Produced by Dario Mollo, known for his work with Hughes, Graham Bonnett, and Don Airey, "Dawn" showcased Edoardo's versatility, sensitivity, and compositional elegance. The album quickly soared to the top of the Italian Amazon Music chart.
A year later, on April 7, 2023, Edoardo unveiled his second album, "Songs," also produced by Dario Mollo and released by Clockbeats. "Songs" is a masterful fusion of jazz and pop, featuring reinterpretations of classic Italian and international pieces, alongside original compositions. It highlights Edoardo's creative virtuosity and evolving artistry, marking him as a significant contemporary music figure.
Currently, Edoardo continues to shape the future of music education as a teacher of Musical Propaedeutics at the Monteverdi Conservatory in Cremona and Guitar for the Department of Music Therapy at the Maderna Conservatory in Cesena.
